I’m a digital designer, a UX/UI designer, a product designer and a digital design director. There are probably more labels I could use, but at my core I’m simply a designer.
I specialise in user experience and interface design. I love turning complicated content structures into truly user-centered, delightful experiences. I believe in inclusive design and I’m a stickler for details. Every now and then I enjoy getting my hands on a nice branding project.
In my seventeen years in the design industry I’ve done work for global FMCG products, national brands and local services, but what really floats my boat is designing for a cause.
Since 2012 I’ve worked in the healthcare sector, creating digital products and experiences for many of the top pharma and healthcare companies in the world, helping to educate HCPs and support patients. I currently do this as a Senior UX Designer at OPEN Health.
I do a lot of work for charity, both in a design capacity and as a volunteer. In particular I’m on the 2nd Abingdon Scouts executive committee, looking after all their design and marketing needs as well as organising fundraising events. I believe it’s really important to inspire the next generation of designers.
